The Most Important Question to Ask if You're Stressing about Conceiving
The Most Important Question to Ask if You're Stressing about Conceiving
Do you remember before you started trying to conceive, what you thought it would be like? Maybe it happens pretty quickly — you just do the deed and next thing you know you’re hopping around the bathroom hugging your partner after revealing the positive test? For once, things just go according to plan.
Fast forward to now. Can you believe how the list of what it takes to have a baby has grown? So much doubt and fear creeps in…
Should I be changing my diet?
Is it OK to have a glass of wine or two at my friend’s bday dinner?
Should I be monitoring my cycle more closely?
Should I be doing more to know for certain when I am ovulating?
Should I be doing things to help boost implantation after I think I ovulated?
The list is endless.
The question
If you are amazed by how quickly you went from thinking you’d be pregnant by now to stressing about what may be wrong, ASK YOURSELF this question: Is this feeling new? Or does it feel familiar?
Does it remind you of how you’ve felt not only about getting pregnant but in other areas of your life, recently or when you were younger?
Does it feel like trying to have a baby is one more thing that isn’t working out, like you have to work extra hard when it seems to come easily for others, or like you have to put on a happy face when really you're ashamed/sad/furious inside?
If so, it makes perfect sense that having a baby has become daunting, even though there is no right or wrong way to go about it.
The Solution
The only thing that matters is what serves YOU, and TO KNOW WHAT THAT IS REQUIRES CONNECTION WITH YOURSELF – SOMETHING THAT WAS LIKELY SHUT DOWN ALONG THE WAY BECAUSE YOU LEARNED TO PUT OTHERS’ NEEDS FIRST.
Being connected to yourself is the only way you’ll know what YOU need to have a baby. If changing your diet will feel good or like you’re restricting yourself… If having a drink will feel celebratory or like you’re messing up your chances this month… If you should be using OPKs or if the data will cause your mind to spin…
Next Steps
I can help you resolve the unfinished business from your past in just 8 weeks. When that occurs, having a baby will be the natural byproduct. Schedule a free chat to discuss your unique situation and possibilities.
Don’t wait, this is the most important thing you can do for yourself, both to have a baby but even more importantly, because you deserve to feel better and start living the life you want NOW.

Takeaways from my symptom-spotting experience
I had this “Memory” pop up on social media. It was a picture of my husband and me and some friends away for a weekend in Lake Placid, snowshoeing and X-country skiing. There are a couple of things that are difficult to tell from the genuine smile on my face in the photos:
The temperature was literally -10 degrees, and
I was about 8 weeks pregnant with my first daughter, after having experienced two pregnancy losses in the prior year.
This “Memory” really struck me. Choosing to spend the weekend outdoors in freezing temperatures is not for the faint of heart anyway...but when 8 weeks pregnant after 2 losses that occurred around that same gestational stage?
WTH, I thought? What could I possibly have been thinking??
And then I remembered:
I had decided I was going to take my life back. That I was going to do everything needed to help myself believe I was as capable as anyone else of growing and nurturing new life.
I had missed out on some fun outings with friends that prior year when we were TTC, for fear I’d miss my ovulation window or negatively impact a new pregnancy. It didn’t work, and worse, it didn’t feel good. I felt like TTC was ruling my life.
So instead, I gave myself permission to do what I felt. I didn’t stop tracking my cycle, but I only paid attention to it closely when it was around O time and then once I felt like I had done what I could to give myself the best shot that month, I let it go.
Otherwise, I decided to try out giving myself the best shot BY LIVING MY LIFE and seeking out what makes me feel content and happy.
And it worked. That’s how I knew it was okay to go snowshoeing and X-country skiing in frigid temps – I was connected with myself enough I could hear what served me.
And my first daughter was born 7 months after that super fun trip.
You can try it right this moment – what have you been putting off, limiting or not allowing yourself? What do you want to give yourself permission to grab hold of?
This is what we’ll be doing in my Conception Accelerator Group Coaching program starting April 10. If you want to learn how with my support, visit the Group Coaching page now.

Most women who are trying to conceive get caught in a perpetual loop of trying to fix what might be wrong. Trying to figure out why it hasn’t happened yet.
When you’re focused on fixing, you’re focused on something being wrong. Which might be helpful IF there is in fact something wrong. But otherwise it simply keeps you stuck in the energy of not having what you want.
Try this instead:
Say to yourself “If there’s more I need to do/know about whether I’m pregnant or how to get pregnant asap, it will become apparent. I don’t need to try harder to fix things or know before my body is ready to tell me. I can trust myself to know.”
Grab your journal or a piece of paper and write down 5 things you’re looking forward to about being a mom.
For each, spend a moment identify the FEELING you’ll experience when that thing you’re looking forward to actually happens
Notice where you feel that emotion in your body, what it feels like to experience what you’re looking forward to about motherhood.
Soak in that feeling, and set the intention to return to it when you noice your mind start looping again (eventually it will get easier, I promise).
If your mind jumps in and says “DANGER! Don’t get your hopes up!”, lovingly thank it for trying to protect you from disappointment and see if you can allow the possibility.
Your future results depend on your current thoughts and feelings. By choosing to participate in the thoughts and feelings you’re going for, you connect yourself to those results.
If you try this, let me know in the comments how it goes. No judgment, just love and compassion. It takes practice, but you are worth it.
Your likelihood of conceiving in the next 8 weeks increases exponentially when you learn to listen within for the answers you need
Learn how, with my support
It took me LOTS of trial and error, time, energy and resources to figure out what actually works, the things people don’t tell you, when you’re trying to conceive. That’s why I first opened KindNest 6 years ago, to help make the process simpler for others.
The first day, I brought my then 2 year old daughter to daycare and when I got back to my car I had a VM from a woman who had heard through the grapevine about the work I was doing.
Like many of us, she was successful in her career and life overall and when she got married the year before she had A PLAN - a timeline in her head as to when she’d have a baby. ⏰ As the months passed, her anxiety level climbed.
So we chatted, she signed up for my program and got started right away. When she got her period that month she was like “great, this doesn’t work, just like nothing else has worked…” and she started exploring fertility treatments and scheduled an IUI for the following month as she continued my program. She called me in tears after her mid cycle checkup revealed she had already ovulated and the treatment she had planned would be pushed out another month.
BUT THEN
💥To her surprise, 2 weeks later, she got her positive pregnancy test! By New Years, she was a mom.
When this happened, I knew I was onto something. If this framework worked for Darcie and me, how many others might it help?
Now I’ve watched women after woman become pregnant in 8 WEEKS OR LESS, whether they’ve been at it for months or years, are “advanced maternal age”, in the midst of fertility treatment or already gave up on it, experienced loss(es), baffled by diagnoses…. everything you can think of, this program has empowered those who have utilized it to become pregnant in less than 8 weeks.
When I was first doing this, it was based on my own education, research and experience. Now, after working with so many others over the last 6 years, I’ve gotten so much feedback and intel, I’ve been able to make it even MORE perfect, narrowing it down to the exact steps that work, time and again.
And that’s what I want to share with you.

Try This Instead
Grab a piece of paper and Draw a line down the middle.
On the left, write down 5 negative things your mind is saying about not being pregnant yet (it’s taking too long, it’s never going to happen, my friends are going to move on without me, I should have been pregnant by now, I’m getting too old…).
Then…
On the right, write down all 5 positives of not being pregnant yet (I get to sleep in on the weekends, I can make spontaneous plans without needing a babysitter, I’m not going to xyz after having waited and hoped for so long…). If needed, flip some of your negatives to see their silver linings.
Finally…
Notice how you feel.
This isn’t about trying to ignore feeling the things on the left side of the paper. Often, by acknowledging the positives, the negatives have less weight. That’s all. Wouldn’t it be nice to carry a little less weight as you wait this month?
Try it and let me know in the comments what you notice.

Creating a Baby Registry Amidst Pregnancy Uncertainties
The delicate balance of preparing for a baby when you’re feeling anxious
Introduction:
Bringing a child into the world is a monumental journey, and for those who have faced the trials of infertility or a tumultuous path to pregnancy, the excitement can be tempered by fear. The superstition of jinxing the pregnancy outcome can cast a shadow on celebratory moments, such as creating a baby registry. However, there comes a point when embracing the potential for a positive outcome outweighs these fears. In this article, we'll explore the delicate balance of preparing for a baby while navigating the uncertainties that may accompany pregnancy.
Essentials for Minimalist Preparation:
It can help to begin by understanding that babies don't require an abundance of possessions or need many of the products on the market today. For those who prefer a more minimalist approach, focusing on gathering the essentials is key. Here's a list to consider:
Transportation:
A properly installed car seat is required by law for the journey home from a hospital or birthing center
Diapering:
Diapers and wipes
Changing pad
Diaper rash cream
Hygiene:
Burp cloths and bibs
Baby soap and tub
Soft towels and washcloths
Baby nail clippers
Thermometer
Sleep:
Bassinet, co-sleeper, or crib
Swaddle blankets (multi-functional for nursing covers, burp cloths, and changing mats)
Comfortable onesies and sleepers
Nourishment:
Nursing bras, shirts and pads (if planning to nurse)
Bottles, formula, brush, and drying rack (if not planning to nurse)
Considerations for Non-Essentials:
While focusing on the basics is a practical approach, some non-essential items can enhance convenience and comfort for both you and them in the early days and weeks of your newborn's life. These can also be great for group purchases to ease the financial burden. Keep in mind that those who love you are likely to buy you gifts regardless and choosing these items yourself minimizes the risk of receiving things that may not align with your preferences or style. Consider:
Baby monitor
Diaper pail or bin
Pump and nursing support pillow (if applicable)
Sound machine
Portable diaper changing mat
Swing, rocker, or bouncer for moments when you need hands-free time
Wearable carrier like a Boba wrap
Stroller
High chair
Sleep sacks and swaddle blankets
Mattress, mattress protectors, and multiple sets of sheets
Car seat cover (for colder climates)
A note on Building Your Support Team:
As you prepare for the arrival of your little one, consider expanding your support team beyond material possessions. These experts can provide invaluable assistance during the transition to parenthood:
Doula:
A doula offers emotional and physical support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Their expertise can contribute to a more positive birthing and early postpartum experience.
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist (PT):
Postpartum pelvic floor PT can aid in the recovery of pelvic muscles, offering support for issues that may arise after childbirth, such as incontinence or discomfort.
Sleep Consultant:
Sleep consultants specialize in helping parents establish healthy sleep routines for their infants. Their guidance can be particularly beneficial for exhausted parents navigating the challenges of sleep deprivation.
Lactation Consultant (if planning to breast/chestfeed):
A lactation consultant provides expert advice and support for nursing. Whether you're a first-time parent or facing specific challenges, their knowledge can be instrumental in ensuring a successful breast/chest-feeding journey.
In embracing not only the material aspects but also the supportive network around you, you can approach parenthood with a more comprehensive and prepared mindset. It’s not just about things; it's about building a foundation of support for the incredible journey ahead.
Conclusion:
Creating a baby registry is a personal step in preparing for parenthood. While the fear of jinxing the pregnancy outcome is valid, it's crucial to find a balance between cautious optimism and practical preparation. By focusing on the essentials and considering non-essentials that align with your lifestyle, you can create a registry that reflects your needs while embracing the journey ahead. No matter what you decide, you’ll be just fine because what your baby really needs is love. And it’s crystal clear simply by virtue of the fact you’re reading this: there is no shortage of love waiting for them within you.
New Horizons for KindNest in 2024
ANNOUNCEMENT: New Horizons for KindNest in 2024
Embracing Change and New Beginnings
Introduction:
David Bowie once said, "Discipline doesn't mean that you have breakfast at eight o'clock in the morning and you're out of the house by half past eight. Discipline is if you conceive something, decide whether or not it's worth following through, and if it is… you follow it through to its logical conclusion, to the best of your ability. That's discipline." You may have heard me reference this quote before. It’s because these words reflect what I set out to do through KindNest – follow the vision I conceived, of providing support to women and couples, to its logical conclusion.
As such, KindNest, as a place of solace, support and empowerment for women and couples, has embodied this philosophy throughout its existence thus far. As I look back on the incredible journey that has unfolded in what will soon be 5 years since we opened doors, I recognize that sometimes, following an idea through to its logical conclusion leads to unexpected and transformative new beginnings. Such a new beginning is on the horizon for KindNest come January of 2024.
The Vision Unfolds:
KindNest was born from a deep desire to provide solace and support to those who have experienced the profound grief of pregnancy loss. It began with my personal experience over a decade ago now, with the realization of how common pregnancy loss is and a need for more support, and quickly expanded in subsequent years to encompass holistic support for various stages of life, from fertility and pregnancy to parenting.
At its inception, I envisioned my role as merely the person bringing together the resources and expertise of others, as the one running the business. However, life had other plans. My path lead me to become a life coach and energetic healer, and I soon discovered that this one-on-one work would be the most impactful and rewarding aspects of my role as Founder, both financially as it relates to keeping the doors open and lights on, as well as emotionally and energetically, by influencing the balance of peace and suffering within individuals.
Five Years in the Making:
2024 will mark five years since I embarked on this journey of having a brick-and-mortar location, constantly seeking the best way to work with clients individually while also running a community space. The global pandemic provided a unique opportunity to learn that the vast majority of individual clients prefer to work together remotely, leading to a pivotal realization I’m now embracing: I no longer require all the physical space I initially envisioned.
A Bittersweet Farewell:
The time has come to acknowledge that KindNest, as a brick-and-mortar community space, has reached its logical conclusion. This decision has not been easy, and my emotions have run high. Still, I am confident it's the right choice. I grapple with feelings of failure alongside a sense of letting down those who believed and invested in the original vision of KindNest, but it doesn't change the fact that despite my best efforts, under my direction the community space has not flourished in the way I once envisioned.
The Good News:
There is light at the end of this tunnel. KindNest is not going away; instead, it is evolving. As of January 2024, the community space at 1 Rosell Drive will thrive under the capable hands of Molly Conway of The Body WorkShop Physical Therapy, who has called KindNest home for the last two years. This change will allow me to channel my attention, energy, and resources toward growing KindNest as the coaching and energetic healing business that has had a profound impact on people's lives over the last five years.
A Look Back:
As we bid farewell to this chapter, it’s important to acknowledge the achievements that have graced KindNest. The number of teachers who facilitated classes and workshops (numbering 32), practitioners who called KindNest home to their business (9), and clients who have been a part of this community (2,500+ and still counting) is a testament to the difference we have made. We have created a welcoming physical space, and nurtured a community that will continue to evolve and grow in its next iteration.
Gratitude:
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, clients, the community, and supporters who believed in this dream, as well as to The Body WorkShop for enabling the physical space to live on in a new way. While mixed emotions may linger, it's clear that it's time for a big change, making room for the next phase where KindNest can touch more lives more deeply.
What’s Next:
KindNest's evolution into a virtual realm brings forth exciting opportunities. I am thrilled to announce that I will continue offering my Inner Alignment Coaching program, which has touched the lives of many, empowering them to harness the innate power of their minds and bodies. This program is designed to help individuals make peace with their past and achieve their most elusive goals.

This transition is not the end, but a new and promising beginning, and I look forward to the journey ahead with hope, determination, and the discipline to follow this evolving vision to its logical conclusion.
Becoming My Own Student
I’m Going on an 8-Week Journey with My Own Inner Alignment Program…Want to Come Along?
(PLUS: An Exclusive Offer for You!)
Introduction
In a world filled with endless distractions and the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to lose sight of ourselves and the path we want to tread. That's why I've decided to embark on a journey of participating in MY OWN Inner Alignment Program for the next 8 weeks, starting next week! I'm eager to share with you the details of this experience and will be including my insights, challenges, and breakthroughs as I become the participant in each facet of my own program.
Week 1: Calming the Nervous System - The Foundation
The first week of my journey focuses on the crucial foundation of inner alignment: calming the nervous system. In today's fast-paced world, it's all too easy to become overwhelmed, stressed, and disconnected from ourselves, and we coaches and healers are no exception! This week, I'll dive deep into Week 1 of my video curriculum and take actionable steps to find calm and balance within, so I can free up energy to use in subsequent weeks. I'll be sharing my experiences on my social media channels, so you can join me in grounding in.
Week 2: Gaining Clarity on Desires and Internal Motivators
In Week 2, I'll explore the concept of regaining clarity on what I desire most and uncovering the internal motivators that drive my most important external goals. This is where the true power of inner alignment begins to shine. By understanding my desires and motivations in this light, I can set meaningful heart-based goals as I head into 2024. I can begin to move my energy with purpose, by working to foster the internal state I desire, so I can naturally manifest externally. I'll be sharing my insights, challenges, and breakthroughs during this week, inviting you to reflect on your own desires and motivations.
Week 3: Clearing Energetic Interference and The Path to Alignment
Week 3 marks a crucial juncture. From this point forward, it’ll be time to address the energetic interference that stands in the way of my desires. I'll explore various practices from Weeks 3 through 8, designed to clear these blockages, allowing me to realign with my aspirations. Expect to hear about my experiences with these practices as I utilize them to clear the energetic interference.
Why Inner Alignment Matters
Inner alignment is not just a trendy concept but essential to embodying an intentional life. When we actively clear the interference of past experiences and align with what we want, we can handle whatever life throws at us and thrive. It’s all part of the journey and feels more like an interesting scavenger hunt as opposed to an endless maze! It's the key to unlocking our potential — closing old wounds from the past and aligning with the feelings we want most to experience — in order to achieve our dreams. By sharing my journey, I’d love to inspire you to take the next step towards your own heart’s desires as well.
Conclusion
As I prepare to start my 8-week program, I'm eager to delve into the three essential components necessary for embodying my inner alignment: calming my nervous system, gaining clarity on my desires and motivations, and clearing my energetic interference. By participating in this program, I the coach will again become the student, and I aim to reemerge as a more fully aligned, authentic, and fulfilled version of myself, one who’s ready have more impact on the balance of peace and suffering in the world in 2024.
Stay tuned for my updates and reflections. You can join me on social media as I share candidly about my experience, as we explore the transformative power of inner alignment together.

Understanding the Inner Alignment Process
Manifestation, in its essence, is about intentionally creating what we want in life. Whether it's healing emotional wounds, manifesting tangible desires like a baby, a fulfilling relationship, or career success, it all becomes achievable when we understand the "how." My Inner Alignment program is designed to make this process accessible and actionable, through 3 distinct steps:
Calming your nervous system
Clarity on internal motivator(s) for your external goal(s)
Clearing energetic interference
My program includes a step-by-step roadmap to implement all 3 over the course of 8 weeks.
BUT right now, for a limited time, I am offering the opportunity for you to hone in on THE one area that’s the biggest challenge for you, in a Jumpstart session.
Here's a breakdown of the options:
1. nervous system Regulation jumpstart
The first step in the Inner Alignment journey is to calm your nervous system. Without a calm nervous system, all your efforts in other areas will be less effective. In a Nervous System Regulation Jumpstart session (60-minute virtual session, $150), I provide strategies tailored to your unique energetics and circumstances. The techniques you learn in this session will help you respond rather than react, think clearly, and feel better. Pre-work is required to make the most of this session.
2. magnetizing your desires jumpstart
Maybe your nervous system is in check but you could use help on the second step, connecting with your internal motivator for your external desires. Manifestation is not just about external goals; what unlocks your ability to manifest is identifying the core desires and feelings that drive those goals. For instance, if your goal is to heal from grief, you need to envision what it would look and feel like once that grief is integrated into the story of your life. This is where you need to shift your focus. In my Magnetizing Your Desires Jumpstart session (60-minute virtual session, $150), I’ll guide you through this process by refining your Heart's Desire(s) and uncovering your internal motivator(s). I’ll help you identify the desired feelings and scenarios to practice. Homework assignments are designed to solidify these concepts.
3. making peace jumpstart
Perhaps you know exactly what you want and why, but you’re stumped in getting there, feeling like you’ve already tried everything. This is what I see most! The vast majority of us minimize the impact of our past experiences, which create interference in our ability to align our energy effectively with what we want. Unprocessed energy stored in the body will continue to affect us until we process and release it. In my Making Peace Jumpstart session (60-minute virtual session, $150), we’ll explore how energy works and what creates interference for YOU. We’ll delve into one of your biggest barriers or triggers, and through simple energetic practices I’ll help you release unprocessed energy from the past. Homework assignments focus on continuing the practices introduced and increasing awareness of limiting beliefs to make sustainable change.
Summary
Manifestation doesn't have to be a daunting or mystifying process. It's about understanding your inner energy and aligning it with your goals and desires. Inner Alignment offers a structured approach to help you achieve the life you want. By calming your nervous system, uncovering your internal motivators, and clearing interference from the past, you'll be well on your way to manifesting your dreams.
I’m offering exclusive access to these Jumpstart sessions to Aligned + Well Blog readers, for a limited time. Whether you're stressed, struggling to manifest your desires, or haunted by the past, Inner Alignment can provide the guidance and tools you need to create the life you've always wanted.

Finding Courage to Stay Open When Bad Things Happen
Balancing the Risks of Control with the Rewards of Freedom
Introduction
Life is unpredictable, and despite our best efforts, bad things can and do happen. This week I found myself grappling with a vast array of emotions following the abduction and subsequent safe return of a young girl in our close-knit community. Whether it’s the possibility of a school shooting, abduction, or another unspeakable tragedy, our society and media are rife these days with worst-case scenarios for us to ponder.
While my immediate mama-bear reaction may be to put my kids in a bubble to keep them safe forever, I know that’s not the answer, nor possible. Statistically speaking, the likelihood of these horrific occurrences is so small, unlike the impact of a hyper-controlled life ruled by fear, the implications of which are vast. I’ve been listening inwardly to understand my own threshold of control vs. freedom, trying to come to terms with how to find balance.
In this blog post, we’ll explore considerations for consciously choosing to stay open when bad things happen, making peace with the inevitable uncertainties of life, and striking a balance between freedom and control. Whether you're a parent worrying about your child's safety, an individual navigating the twists and turns of life, or both, one thing is certain: you can't protect yourself or your loved ones from every possible danger. Risk is an inherent part of being human, and it's how we make peace within ourselves with these risks that truly matters.
The Perils of Constricting Control and Inherent Risk
Considerations:
1. Accepting the Inherent Risk of Being Human
Perhaps it’s obvious – the first step towards staying open when bad things happen is acknowledging and accepting that risk is an inherent part of being human. We cannot protect ourselves or our loved ones from every possible danger. Life is full of uncertainties, and trying to control every aspect of it is not only impossible but can also lead to pervasive anxiety and stress.
2. Understanding Your Comfort Threshold
Getting to know your own risk comfort threshold is important. Each of us has a different level of tolerance for risk and uncertainty. Some people are naturally more cautious, while others are more adventurous. Don't try to conform to someone else's idea of what is safe or acceptable; instead, honor your own instincts and boundaries. Are you able to embrace the potential downside of a risk for the potential upside of the reward? It may help to ask yourself honestly – if the worst case scenario were to occur, could I forgive myself knowing I did the best I could to avoid it, that I chose to embrace living daily life openly and without fear?
3. Planning for the Worst, Hoping for the Best
Since it’s impossible to shield ourselves completely from every danger, it's wise to plan for and discuss worst-case scenarios, at an age-appropriate level of detail. Discuss contingency plans so you feel you’ve done your best. These discussions can give us a sense of control and security. By preparing for these situations, you can feel like you've done the best you can to protect yourself and your loved ones.
4. Avoiding Unnecessary Exposure to Risk
While it's crucial to embrace the unpredictability of life, it's also important to act mindfully to avoid unnecessary exposure to risk. Make informed decisions and take precautions when necessary. For instance, you might advise your child to remain close to you in public or make it a rule that they travel in groups. This approach allows you to strike a mindful balance between embracing the adventure of being out and about while taking the necessary steps to protect yourself or your family from potential harm.
5. The Limits of Constricting Control
Constricting control, driven by fear, limits the possibilities of growth, joy, and adventure that humans are here to experience. When we tightly grip the reins of our lives or the lives of those around us, we inadvertently stifle the very essence of what it means to be alive. We become trapped in a narrow corridor of existence, missing out on the vast expanse of opportunities that life presents.
EMBRACING FREEDOM AND OPENNESS
CONSIDERATIONS
1. Embracing the Freedom of Growth
True growth often occurs beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones. It's in those uncharted territories of life where we discover our strengths, learn invaluable lessons, and experience moments of profound joy and adventure. By embracing freedom over constricting control, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities.
2. The Joy of Unpredictability
Life's unpredictability is often what makes it so beautiful. Think about the moments in your life that have brought the most joy and fulfillment. Chances are, many were unexpected, spontaneous, and beyond your control. By relinquishing excessive control and allowing room for spontaneity, you invite more of these joyful moments into life.
3. Adventure as a Path to Self-Discovery
Adventure is not just about exploring far-off places; it's also about exploring the depths of your own being. When you release the grip of control, you invite adventure into your life in various forms. Adventure fosters personal growth, resilience, and a deeper connection to the world around you. This is traded when control and fear take hold.
4. The Essence of Being Human
As humans, we are inherently curious beings. We are here to experience the richness of life in all its facets, from the mundane to the extraordinary. Constricting control may offer a false sense of security, but it robs us of the authentic human experience—an experience that is meant to be filled with exploration, connection, growth, and the unbridled joy of embracing the unknown.
5. Energetic Alignment
Acknowledging the role of energetic alignment in our lives is crucial. Everything happens energetically before it happens physically. A mind focused on control often begets fear-inducing experiences, while a mind focused on love and openness begets love-inspiring ones. Consciously choosing a perspective of openness and love can lead to a more positive and open-minded life, enabling you to openly embrace the spectrum of experiences available in the world.
A Note on Silver Linings
One of the most profound aspects of dealing with adversity and difficult situations is the possibility of silver linings, even in the most challenging circumstances. When we face distressing events, it's natural to want to understand the "why," but sometimes, that answer may never come. However, we can choose to focus on the possibility of positive outcomes and lessons that may emerge from such experiences:
1. Building Community: Tragic events often bring communities together in a remarkable way. People rally to support each other, offer help, and show solidarity. The sense of unity and collective strength that arises from adversity can be a powerful force for good.
2. Preventing Future Tragedies: The experience of one ordeal may serve as a deterrent to potential predators lurking in the wings. When they see the community's determination to protect its members and the consequences faced by those who commit such crimes, it may make them think twice before acting on their harmful intentions.
3. Rediscovering Joy: In the midst of despair, the return of a missing person, safe and sound, can be a cause for immense joy and celebration. It reminds us that, even in the darkest moments, there is room for hope, happiness, community and positive surprises.
4. Learning for the Future: Investigations into incidents with happy endings can provide invaluable insights for law enforcement and organizations working to prevent abductions, find missing children or otherwise. Analyzing the details of how these crimes are carried out can lead to improved strategies and better outcomes for future or open cases.
Conclusion
Staying open when bad things happen is a delicate dance between freedom and control, fear and love. It requires understanding your comfort threshold, planning for the worst while remaining focused on the best, and making a conscious choice to align with openness and possibility for the value of what it brings to life.
While we can't control every outcome and we may never fully understand the reasons behind tragic events, we can choose how to respond and how life experience shapes us. We can focus on the best actions we can take to remain safe without excessive control, so we may embrace the full spectrum of human emotions, from the depths of despair to the thrill of adventure and the deep well of joy that can spring from living with an open heart. Ultimately, by choosing freedom and love over fear and control, we not only honor the essence of being human but also unlock the boundless potential for growth, joy, and adventure that this unique journey offers.
Liberating Yourself from Past Pain: The Power of Processing Old Energy
Introduction
Life can be challenging, and we all carry emotional baggage from our past experiences. Whether it's from a difficult relationship, past traumas, or even a toxic family dynamic, these emotional wounds can linger and affect our well-being and ability to achieve our goals. From an inner alignment perspective, the answer lies in a transformative process that involves understanding and processing old energy stored in your body. In this article, we'll explore the concept of processing old energy and how it can liberate you from the weight of past pain, allowing you to respond rather than react to life's challenges.
Understanding Old Energy
Old energy refers to the emotional residue that accumulates within us over time due to painful or traumatic experiences. These emotions can include anger, sadness, resentment, and fear. Much like a storage system in our bodies and minds, this old energy can shape our reactions to similar situations, often without us even realizing it. This keeps us feeling stuck, like we are at the mercy of the external circumstances, needing them to change in order to feel better. In fact, the opposite is true – by processing the old energy you embrace your innate ability to heal, flow with the ups and downs of life, and thrive.
The Process of Letting Go
Acknowledgment and Validation: The first step in processing old energy is acknowledging the emotions tied to past experiences. You don’t need to remember the exact circumstances or details, it’s enough to recognize “this feels old” and just sit with it in the moment. It's helpful to validate your own feelings and understand that it's entirely normal to be affected by past pain.
Allowing the Feelings: To let go of the old energy, it needs to be felt and honored so it can be processed rather than repressed. The beautiful thing is that this can take place any time, no matter how old the wounds are. Sometimes sitting and allowing the feelings is enough. Since it’s important for the mind to not to get wrapped up in analysis, judgment or the old story though, specific strategies and steps may need to be taken to enable it to be fully processed.
Seeking Support and Guidance: Healing often requires support from trusted individuals or professionals, such as therapists, coaches or healers. They can provide you with the tools and guidance needed to navigate your emotions and further the healing process. (Tip: Strategies and techniques for releasing old energy are taught in my Inner Alignment Coaching program.)
The Transformation
As you work on processing old energy, you'll begin to notice significant transformations in your life:
Freedom from Triggers: Processing old energy allows you to detach from past triggers. Similar circumstances and people who once provoked intense reactions in you will no longer have the same power over your emotions. It’s not that you’ll forget what happened in the past; it simply won't have the power over you it does now, because those experiences will be integrated into the story of your life, rather than stopping you in your tracks each time they are recalled or reoccur.
Increased Emotional Resilience: You'll develop emotional resilience, enabling you to respond thoughtfully and intentionally rather than react impulsively to challenging situations. This newfound strength empowers you to make choices that serve your well-being and goals.
Embracing Positive Change: With the burden of old energy lifted, you'll experience positive change in your life and renewed capacity to achieve your dreams. You can set healthier boundaries, cultivate more fulfilling relationships, and pursue your goals with confidence.
Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself during this journey. Healing is not a linear path, and it's okay to have “setbacks”. Those I’ve guided to process old wounds through Inner Alignment Coaching often ask me “what if I go back to my old ways now that I’ve completed the program??” To this my answer is always the same – it would be impossible for you to go back without trying really hard! Once the old energy is processed, it’s no longer there to cause you to react in old ways. All that’s required to move forward is staying connected with yourself, so you can choose what serves you as you navigate life. Practicing self-compassion can help you stay on track and maintain a mindset that’s aligned with the future you desire.
Conclusion
Processing old energy is a transformative journey that empowers you to break free from the shackles of past pain. It allows you to respond rather than react to life's challenges, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and liberated existence. Remember, healing takes time and patience, but the rewards are immeasurable. By embarking on this journey, you can take control of your emotional well-being and create a brighter, more empowered future.
Feelings Fuel Transformation: The Power of Inner Alignment
Introduction
How have you been feeling lately? I mean, really feeling? It's a question we often brush off with a quick "I'm fine" or a forced smile, but it's a question that holds the key to unlocking the life you truly desire. You see, the way you feel right now is a powerful indicator of what you'll manifest in the future. It's the energy you emit into the universe, and understanding this concept can change your life in profound ways.
In this article, we're going to delve into the importance of recognizing and aligning your feelings with your desires and how it can lead to transformation. I’ll also introduce a three-pronged approach you can utilize to help you take intentional action and create the life you've always wanted.
The Power of Feelings
Emotions are the language of the body. They are the compass that guides us through life. Yet, so often, we suppress or ignore our true feelings, fearing the discomfort they may bring. We put on masks and deny our emotions, thinking we're protecting ourselves. But in reality, we're only perpetuating the patterns we wish to break free from.
The truth is, you will continue to manifest more of what you currently feel until you take deliberate steps to disrupt these existing patterns. Your reality today is a direct product of your past thoughts and feelings. So, if you want to change your reality, you must begin by changing how you feel.
Cultivating What You Desire
Cultivating the feelings you desire in your life may seem like a complex task, but it's simpler than you might think. It all starts with awareness and intention.
Self-Awareness: The first step is to become acutely aware of your current emotional state. Are you feeling joyful, anxious, or perhaps a sense of emptiness? This self-reflection is crucial because it allows you to acknowledge your true feelings, even if they are uncomfortable, and from there you can take intentional action.
Intentional Action: Once you've identified your feelings, it's time to take intentional action to shift them. This might involve practices like mindfulness, meditation, journaling, or seeking professional help through one of my online courses or individualized one-on-one coaching. The goal is to replace negative or limiting feelings with positive and empowering ones.
Accountability and Transformation: The journey to inner alignment requires effort and consistency. Holding yourself accountable to your transformation process is essential. This is where a structured program can make a significant difference. It provides you with the guidance and support you need to stay on track and make real progress.
The Inner Alignment Program
If you're ready to embrace a life filled with the feelings you desire and manifest your dreams, my Inner Alignment program is here to help. By recognizing and aligning with your true feelings, you can break free from old patterns and manifest the life you've always wanted. My Inner Alignment program offers you the tools and support you need to embark on this transformative journey. So, ask yourself again, "How have you been feeling?" and consider taking the first step towards a life filled with the emotions and experiences you desire.
Cultivating a Positive Mindset and Manifesting Your Desires Through Meditation
Introduction:
In a world that often bombards us with negative news and challenges, cultivating a positive mindset has become an essential practice for maintaining our mental well-being. While the idea of positive thinking has gained popularity, it's important to understand that true positivity goes beyond just suppressing negative thoughts. In this article, we'll explore how meditation techniques can help you cultivate a genuine positive mindset and harness the power of manifestation to bring your desires to life.
The Pitfalls of Superficial Positivity:
At first glance, adopting a positive mindset might seem as simple as repeating affirmations or suppressing negative thoughts. However, true positivity involves more than just ignoring challenges and setbacks. A genuine positive mindset requires understanding and working with the full spectrum of emotions that make up the human experience. Suppressing negativity only leads to emotional stagnation and can prevent true growth and transformation.
The Role of Mindfulness Meditation:
Mindfulness meditation provides a powerful tool for cultivating a positive mindset that is rooted in authenticity and self-awareness. Rather than pushing away negative thoughts or feelings, mindfulness encourages you to observe them without judgment. By acknowledging and accepting your emotions, you create space for self-compassion and growth.
Starting with Breathwork:
Before diving into meditation, it's essential to calm your nervous system. Breathwork is a simple yet effective technique that can help you ground yourself and focus your attention. By taking slow and intentional breaths, you can create a sense of calm and presence, making it easier to engage in meditation practices.
Envisioning Your Desires:
Manifestation is about more than just wishing for things to happen; it involves harnessing the power of your thoughts and emotions to draw your desires toward you. To begin, clearly identify what you want to manifest and the specific emotions associated with it. Envision yourself experiencing your desires as if they are already part of your reality. This practice creates an energetic resonance that attracts your desires into your life.
The Neuroscience of Manifestation:
Neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to reorganize itself, plays a crucial role in manifestation. The neurons that fire together wire together, creating neural pathways that support your thoughts and emotions. By consistently practicing positive thoughts and emotions through meditation and manifestation techniques, you're rewiring your brain to align with your desires.
Overcoming Negative Thought Patterns:
Negative thought patterns can act as roadblocks to manifestation. Rather than ignoring or suppressing these patterns, embrace them with self-awareness. By acknowledging your negative thoughts and feelings, you can begin to untangle the underlying beliefs that hold you back. Meditation helps you create a mental space where you can reframe these beliefs and replace them with positive affirmations.
The Role of Energy Alignment:
Beyond surface-level positive thinking, energy alignment involves clearing old emotional baggage and aligning your energy with your desires. This process, often facilitated by techniques like Inner Alignment Coaching, allows you to release past experiences and beliefs that hinder your manifestations. As you clear out old energy, you create a fertile ground for your intentions to take root and flourish.
Conclusion:
Cultivating a positive mindset goes beyond mere optimism; it's about embracing the full range of human emotions and using them as stepping stones toward growth and transformation. Meditation, breathwork, and manifestation techniques provide a comprehensive approach to creating lasting change in your life. By harnessing the power of your thoughts, emotions, and energy, you can cultivate positivity from a place of authenticity and attract the life you truly desire.
Navigating Parenthood: Tips for Taking Care of Yourself
Becoming a parent is an incredible journey filled with joy, love, and growth. However, it is also a journey that comes with its fair share of challenges. One of the most significant challenges that new parents face is sleep deprivation. This lack of sleep can impact every aspect of your life and make adjusting to parenthood even more daunting. In this blog post, we will explore the challenges of being a new parent, discuss the importance of practicing self-care during this uncertain period, and provide strategies for managing stress, fatigue, and balancing parenthood with the rest of your life.
The Challenges of New Parenthood
Sleep Deprivation: Sleep deprivation is one of the most prominent challenges new parents face. The sudden disruption of sleep patterns due to feeding, diaper changes, or a colicky baby can leave you feeling exhausted and drained. The lack of sleep can impact your physical, emotional, and mental well-being, making it difficult to navigate daily tasks and responsibilities.
Routine and Schedule Changes: The arrival of a newborn brings about significant changes to your daily routine and schedule. The once-familiar patterns of your life are now replaced with the unpredictable demands of caring for your baby. Adjusting to these changes can be overwhelming and add to the stress of new parenthood.
Learning Curve: There's so much to learn when you become a parent – from feeding and diapering to understanding your baby's cues and needs. This steep learning curve can be intimidating and lead to feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt.
Heightened Awareness of Childhood Trauma or Dysfunction: Parenthood can trigger a heightened awareness of aspects of your own childhood that you want to avoid repeating. Whether you had a challenging childhood or not, the responsibility of caring for a new life can bring up unresolved emotions and fears related to your upbringing.
The Importance of Self-Care During Uncertainty
Taking care of yourself during this period of uncertainty is crucial. Just like the famous saying goes, "You cannot pour from an empty cup." Prioritizing self-care is not only beneficial for your well-being but also for your ability to care for your baby. By replenishing your own energy and well-being, you will be better equipped to handle the demands of parenthood.
Strategies for Coping with Stress and Anxiety
Practice Conscious Breathing: When stress and anxiety arise, take a moment to practice slow, deep breathing. This simple technique can be done in the midst of other activities and helps calm your nervous system and keep you grounded in the present moment.
Allocate Time for Yourself: Plan for small pockets of time each day dedicated solely to yourself. Engage in activities that bring you joy, whether it's reading, listening to music, or taking a short walk.
Seek Support: Reach out to friends, family, or support groups that understand your experience. Connecting with others who are or have been in a similar situation can provide validation and a sense of community.
Adjust Expectations: Recognize that your current circumstances are unique, and it's okay to adjust your expectations. Focus on what you can realistically achieve and be kind to yourself when things don't go as planned.
Managing Sleep and Fatigue
Recognize the Temporary Nature: Remind yourself that the sleep deprivation and fatigue you're experiencing are temporary. This mindset shift can help you cope better with the challenges of parenthood.
Prioritize Sleep: Sleep is essential for your well-being. Whenever possible, try to sleep when your baby sleeps or find opportunities for short naps or moments of rest throughout the day.
Get Support: Share the responsibilities with your partner if applicable, or hire a night doula part-time. Consider implementing strategies like alternating night feedings or diaper changes to ensure you get sufficient rest.
Balancing Parenthood with the Rest of Your Life
Extend, Don't Define: Embrace parenthood as an extension of your identity, not a definition. Continue engaging in activities that bring you happiness and make time for connections that nourish your soul.
Prioritize Interests: Identify hobbies, friends, and activities that align with your interests and passions. While you may have less time, incorporating these activities into your routine can help you maintain a sense of self.
Conclusion
Becoming a new parent is undoubtedly a life-altering experience, filled with both challenges and joys. While sleep deprivation, changes in routine, and the demands of parenthood can feel overwhelming, remember that you deserve to feel okay and that you're doing a great job. By practicing self-care, seeking support, and adjusting your expectations, you can navigate the uncertainties of parenthood while prioritizing your own well-being. Remember, you are not alone on this journey, and with the right strategies and mindset, you can thrive as a new parent while staying true to yourself. The Significance of Serenity: Establishing a Foundation for Conception and Pregnancy
The Significance of Serenity: Establishing a Foundation for Conception and Pregnancy
In our fast-paced and overstimulated world, finding moments of stillness and grounding is essential when you’re trying to conceive. By incorporating simple practices into our daily routines, we can regulate our nervous system, manage stress more effectively, and create a foundation for a more balanced and fulfilling life, including a growing family. In this blog post, we will explore the benefits of grounding ourselves, how it affects our bodies, and practical steps to incorporate this practice into our everyday lives, so you can conceive as soon as possible.
The Importance of Grounding
The more we engage with the chaotic nature of modern life, the more likely we are to become overstimulated and overwhelmed. Grounding ourselves provides a way to counteract this overstimulation and regain balance. Whether it's dedicating a few minutes of stillness at the beginning of each day or finding moments of pause throughout the day, grounding practices can have a profound impact on our well-being and chances of conceiving.
By starting our day with a regulated nervous system, we set ourselves up for success. We become more attuned to recognizing when stress begins to take hold, allowing us to intervene before it spirals out of control. Grounding practices act as anchors, enabling us to catch ourselves when we feel overwhelmed and guide ourselves back to a calmer state.
Wiring the Pathways to Resilience
Incorporating grounding practices into our daily routines is not just a temporary fix. It creates lasting changes in our physiological responses to stress. Just as learning any new skill requires effort initially, incorporating grounding practices into our lives also requires dedication and commitment. Over time, as we hold ourselves accountable and show up for ourselves consistently, we strengthen the neural networks associated with stress regulation.
Furthermore, these practices affect the chemical receptors on our cells, creating a shift toward a more positive and regulated state. By consciously engaging in grounding exercises, we wire our brains and nervous systems to respond in healthier ways to stress. What starts as a deliberate effort eventually becomes an automatic and natural response, promoting a more balanced and regulated state of being.
When we’re focused on getting pregnant we can sometimes over-analyze situations (e.g. to time intercourse, calculate DPO, symptom-spot, etc.) or become hyper-vigilant of our actions. These well-intended activities can create a sense of urgency, which creates stress. When we are under stress regularly, our bodies have a natural protective mechanism that prevents the addition of stressors, such as pregnancy. In other words, if we are consistently experiencing significant levels of stress, our bodies may delay or inhibit the process of conception to safeguard our overall well-being.
Getting Started with Grounding Practices
Incorporating grounding practices into our daily lives may seem daunting at first, but it is achievable with some simple steps. To begin, consider dedicating five minutes each morning before officially starting your day. During this time, find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably. Take slow, deep breaths, and extend your exhalation so it’s longer than your inhalation. Repeat this conscious breathing for 3-4 minutes to ground your nervous system.
Setting reminders on your phone or using time-management tools can help you stay accountable to this practice. If committing to daily grounding feels overwhelming, start with every other day or be gentle with yourself when you miss a session. The goal is to establish a routine that works for you, allows you to prioritize self-care, and most importantly, feels good.
In addition to the morning session, look for opportunities throughout the day to incorporate moments of stillness. Set a reminder on your phone to check in with yourself and practice a few minutes of conscious breathing. While finding a secluded space may be ideal, it's only sometimes practical. Instead, identify pockets of time when you can pause, even if it needs to be in the midst of your regular activities. These brief moments of grounding can have a tremendous impact on your overall well-being.
The Transformational Journey
When you embark on the journey of pregnancy and conception, and commit to taking care of yourself and embracing practices that promote grounding, you set yourself on a transformative path. At first, it may take effort and discipline to integrate these practices into your daily life. However, as you observe the positive impact they have on your overall well-being, a shift takes place. You naturally feel motivated to continue because you genuinely appreciate the benefits and recognize the significant difference they make in how you feel throughout the day, and on your journey toward pregnancy and conception.
Moving Forward After Pregnancy Loss: Navigating the Healing Process
Introduction:
Pregnancy loss is a topic that is often shrouded in silence and secrecy. Many individuals who have experienced this heartbreaking event find themselves grappling with grief and struggling to find a way to move forward. In this blog post, we will explore the importance of discussing pregnancy loss and provide insights on how to cope with the physical and emotional changes that follow such a loss.
Pregnancy loss is more common than people realize, with one in four pregnancies ending in loss. Until it happens to you, it's easy to underestimate just how prevalent it is. This lack of awareness can make the experience all the more isolating and bewildering. Many individuals begin to question what went wrong and blame themselves for the loss. This is why it is crucial to discuss pregnancy loss openly and honestly, not just with healthcare professionals but also with our family and friends.
By sharing our experiences, we break the silence and shed light on the reality of pregnancy loss. It helps create a support network and reminds those who have suffered a loss that they are not alone. Additionally, by discussing pregnancy loss, we can integrate it into the narrative of our lives and avoid carrying the weight of grief for years or even decades. Too often, individuals in their fifties or sixties express their regret that they did not have the necessary support when they were trying to grow their families. By openly discussing pregnancy loss, we can prevent it from interfering with our future health, well-being, and our ability to conceive again.
Types of Pregnancy Loss:
Now, let's delve into the different types of pregnancy loss. A loss before 20 weeks gestation is considered a miscarriage, while a loss after 20 weeks gestation is termed a stillbirth. The majority of miscarriages occur in the first trimester when the cells are dividing and forming. Some other terms you might come across are missed miscarriage, which refers to a situation where the pregnancy has stopped growing, but the body hasn't recognized it yet. Another type is an ectopic pregnancy, which occurs when the embryo grows outside the uterus, making it non-viable.
The grieving process following a pregnancy loss is unique to each individual. Research shows that the depth of grief is not determined by the number of weeks of pregnancy but rather by how much the pregnancy was wanted and the efforts made to conceive. The stages of grief, including denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, apply to pregnancy loss just as they do to any other form of loss. It's crucial to allow yourself to feel the emotions that arise during this process. Although it may be intimidating and overwhelming, acknowledging and processing these feelings is essential for healing.
Coping With Pregnancy Loss:
Coping with the physical and emotional changes after a miscarriage requires support and self-care. Sharing your experience with trusted individuals, both personally and professionally, can provide a sense of solace. However, it is important to select those who will genuinely support you rather than those who may unintentionally make it about themselves. Educating yourself about the physical and emotional aspects of pregnancy loss can also help you navigate this difficult time. It's important to give yourself permission to feel the emotions fully without getting stuck in them. Taking time to deliberately allow yourself to experience and process these emotions will aid in your healing journey.
Conclusion:
If you require additional help, there are various resources available. Support groups for pregnancy loss can be found online or through local healthcare providers. The Angel Names Association provides financial support to families dealing with the expenses of stillbirth. KindNest offers a Healing Essentials online course that includes practical and easy to implement strategies, including how to work with your body and mind to invite healing. Additionally, seeking professional guidance through counseling or coaching can offer personalized support during the healing process.
Moving forward after pregnancy loss is a deeply personal journey. Surrounding yourself with supportive individuals, allowing yourself to grieve, and seeking the help you need are crucial steps towards healing. Remember that there is no set timeline for healing, and it's essential to be patient and compassionate with yourself. Together, through open conversation and support, we can help individuals navigate the challenging path of pregnancy loss and find hope for the future.
Integrating Complementary Therapies for Fertility and Pregnancy: A Holistic Approach
Introduction:
When it comes to matters of fertility and pregnancy, we often focus primarily on the medical aspects, seeking guidance from obstetricians or medical doctors. While the physical aspect is undoubtedly important, it is equally crucial to recognize and address the energetic and emotional components that play a significant role in our overall well-being. In this blog post, we will explore the importance of balancing the physical and energetic aspects of our being and why incorporating complementary therapies can enhance our chances of conceiving and achieving our pregnancy goals.
Understanding the Energetic Component:
Our bodies are more than just the physical form we see; they are also composed of invisible energy. Thoughts, emotions, and energetic vibrations are all part of our being and can profoundly impact our health and fertility. Although some may dismiss these concepts as "woo-woo," it is vital to acknowledge the energetic aspect of our existence. By doing so, we can adopt a holistic approach that supports our overall well-being and increases our chances of conception.
The Wisdom of the Body:
Our bodies possess innate wisdom and intelligence. Under ideal circumstances, they know exactly what to do to maintain balance and facilitate conception. For instance, the release of an egg from the follicle occurs naturally without external intervention. However, external factors such as energetic interference can disrupt this natural wisdom. Stress, negative thoughts, worries, and fear can send signals to the body that now might not be the right time for conception, even if everything appears perfect from a medical standpoint.
The Role of Complementary Therapies:
Complementary therapies provide an avenue to address the energetic and non-physical components of our being. By incorporating these therapies alongside medical treatments, we can optimize our chances of conceiving and achieving our desired outcomes. Let's delve into some examples of complementary therapies that can help in this journey.
Reiki: Reiki is an energetic healing practice that works with the body's energetic systems, primarily the chakra system. Reiki practitioners channel healing energy to recipients, facilitating the release of energetic blockages and restoring balance. The practitioner does not need to identify specific blockages consciously, as Reiki itself intuitively guides the healing process.
Acupuncture: Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese therapy that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body. It is believed to stimulate the flow of energy, known as Qi, throughout the body. By unblocking energetic pathways, acupuncture promotes balance and enhances overall well-being.
Inner Alignment Coaching: Inner alignment coaching focuses on calming the nervous system (to reduce stress), gaining clarity on desires, and addressing any internal blocks, such as the lasting effects of family dysfunction, that may hinder conception. Through an eight-week coaching program, individuals learn to cultivate a sense of calm, align with their desires, and develop practices to work through any obstacles that are preventing pregnancy.
Conclusion:
Incorporating complementary therapies alongside traditional medical approaches can offer a holistic approach to fertility and pregnancy. By recognizing the energetic and non-physical components of our being, we can create an optimal environment for conception and overall well-being. Whether through practices like Reiki, acupuncture, or Inner Alignment Coaching, these therapies help to balance our energy, reduce stress, and align our intentions with our outcomes. By embracing the physical and energetic aspects of our existence, we can embark on a journey toward greater fertility, pregnancy, and overall wellness.

Understanding the Difference: Manifesting vs. Dreaming and How to Create Real Change in Your Life: Part 2
Inner Alignment is a powerful process that involves manifesting by harmonizing your inner self with your external desires. By understanding the connection between your internal state and external manifestations, you can intentionally create the life you envision. In this article, we will explore the process of manifestation. We will delve into the importance of identifying your true desires, practicing the associated feelings, and clearing away limiting beliefs and energy that hinder your progress.
The power of Inner Alignment manifestation begins with recognizing the significance of aligning your inner state with your external goals. This means understanding that what you desire externally is always a reflection of the feelings you seek to experience internally. By uncovering the true reasons you desire certain things, you gain clarity on the emotions and experiences you are truly seeking. This is essential because you cannot manifest something externally that is not aligned with how you feel internally.
Uncovering the underlying desires is essential because the next step is to consciously practice experiencing those feelings internally. By intentionally generating the desired emotions and thoughts associated with your goals, you create a resonance (energetic vibration) that attracts similar experiences into your life. By cultivating these internal states, you shift your energy and magnetize circumstances that align with your desires.
One of the most important parts of manifesting is being able to clear limiting beliefs. These limiting beliefs can be from past experiences, negative thoughts, and stored energy that creates interference with your ability to attract what you desire. It is crucial to work through these barriers by acknowledging and addressing them. By recognizing and releasing old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you, you create space for new opportunities and possibilities to unfold.
Steps to successfully manifest your dreams.
Desire to change.
To effectively manifest your desires, you must be committed to the journey of self-discovery and personal growth. This requires a willingness to allow uncomfortable emotions and face any obstacles that stand in your way
2. Calming your nervous system.
Calming your nervous system is an essential foundational step, as it allows you to focus on your goals without being overwhelmed by stress or fear.
3. Clarity on goals and desires.
To manifest effectively, you must gain crystal-clear clarity on your goals and aspirations, and related feelings. Defining what you want to create externally enables you to understand the internal desires driving those goals. By aligning your internal feelings with your external goals, you can naturally manifest the desired outcomes.
4. Overcoming limiting beliefs.
Overcoming limiting beliefs and old energy requires addressing factors that act as barriers to your progress. These beliefs and energy are often deeply ingrained, influence your thoughts and actions, and block your ability to create the internal feeling required to manifest your external goal. By acknowledging and challenging these beliefs, you can dismantle their power and replace them with empowering thoughts and beliefs that support your manifestations.
5. Align your inner state with your external goals.
Conscious manifestation is a powerful process that involves aligning your inner state with your external goals. By practicing the desired feelings associated with your aspirations and clearing away interference from limiting beliefs and old energy, you create the ideal conditions for the manifestation of what you want to occur.
Embracing the steps outlined in this article empowers you to consciously create the life you envision. With determination, self-awareness, and a willingness to get uncomfortable so you can overcome obstacles, you can embark on a transformative journey of manifestation and bring your dreams into reality. Understanding the Difference: Manifesting vs. Dreaming and How to Create Real Change in Your Life: Part 1
What’s the difference?
Manifesting and dreaming are two concepts that are often used interchangeably but they are actually quite different. While both involve focusing on something that feels good and that we desire, manifesting takes it a step further by actually taking deliberate conscious action to create what we want in our lives. We are subconsciously always manifesting or creating our reality; however to manifest your ideal life you have to make a conscious effort to create what you want.
How it works
Physiologically speaking, the current cells within our body and the synapses within our brain were formed based on what we have been thinking about, feeling, or experiencing in the past. This means that our brains naturally create neural networks, meaning thoughts and actions based on what we have practiced in the past.
What we have thought, felt, and experienced in the past, both positive and negative, perpetually creates what we are manifesting in the present. It requires conscious effort to disrupt the pattern of the past and create what we truly want in our lives. Without conscious effort, we are just repeating the same patterns and experiences from our past, like a computer program that keeps repeating the same instructions.
However, most people will not make a deliberate conscious effort to manifest their desires until they reach a breaking point where they are fed up with their current situation and are desperate for change. This breaking point is what is called the "contrast," where we realize that we don't want what we currently have and the desire to change overpowers the inertia of the past.
From this point, our desire to change becomes a driving force that propels us towards taking deliberate conscious action to manifest our desires. This process requires inner alignment, which means aligning our inner state with our external desires. We need to create the feeling internally first in order to manifest the related desires and goals externally.
Manifesting involves a constant feedback loop between our thoughts, emotions, and physiology. We are always manifesting based upon our thoughts and feelings, conscious or conscious. When we think about something, we feel the associated emotions and chemicals in our body. This, in turn, reinforces our thoughts and creates a feedback loop that can either be positive or negative depending on our thoughts and emotions.
To use this to manifest what we desire, we must identify what it is that we truly desire and why we desire it. For example, if we want a luxurious house, we must ask ourselves what we will feel when we have that house. Will it make us feel successful, accomplished, or happy? Identifying these internal desires and feelings is crucial to creating the right mindset and inner alignment necessary for manifesting our desires.
In contrast, dreaming is a more passive process where we simply think about our desires without taking any deliberate action toward achieving them. While dreaming can be enjoyable and provide temporary relief, it does not lead to any real change or manifestation of our desires.
Why it matters
In conclusion, manifesting and dreaming are two distinct processes that involve focusing on our desires, but manifesting takes it a step further by requiring deliberate conscious action to create the change we want in our lives. By identifying our internal desires, aligning our inner state with our external desires, and taking deliberate action, we can manifest our desires and create the life we truly want. Fed Up With Mom-Guilt?
Are you overwhelmed, exhausted, run down and tired of barking at your kids and then feeling guilty afterward?
Do you feel like there’s not enough time in the day for you or even if there was you wouldn’t have the energy to enjoy it?
Maybe you’ve “lost” yourself along the way in your efforts to be a “good” parent and you desperately want to feel alive again?
Perhaps you’re ready for a change but unsure how after focusing your energy on your family or are a stay at home parent who desperately needs to find time for self-care…
I get it!
Carving out time for self-care can be overwhelming for anyone. For a parent who’s responsible for keeping all the balls in the air on a daily basis, it can seem impossible.
But let me ask you…
If not now, when? The inertia of the rhythm of daily life as it is set up now will propel you years into the future — is that what your heart desires? Or is there something more, something different, or something new that you really yearn for? Without deliberate, conscious effort to change the trajectory of your life, it is certain — you will wake up the same each day, whether you like how it feels or not.
Knowing that you need a change is the first step…figuring out HOW is often the overwhelming part.

What if you’re going to pay a much steeper price if you don’t take care of yourself? What if incorporating these simple habits into you life will actually make you a happier person and therefore a better parent?
It may sound cliche but it’s true: if we don’t put on our own oxygen mask first, we have little to offer to others.
